‘Little Hard’: Jon Rahm Reveals Disheartening Super Bowl Reality at LIV Golf Las Vegas

They won the first event as a team. They are charging into Las Vegas with high hopes. Jon Rahm and his team of golfers would be hoping to replicate their win at the second tourney as well. However, everything doesn’t seem to be going well for the Spaniard as he was visibly disappointed at his current situation, courtesy of the much-anticipated Super Bowl.

During an interview ahead of the upcoming LIV Golf event in Las Vegas on Tuesday, the 29-year-old divulged his plans for the weekend. However, while doing so, he pointed out how it would be a “little hard” to attend the final game of the NFL season.

During the presser, Rahm disclosed how he would not be “doing any events outside,” owing to the LIV Golf event that they are competing in. “It’s a little hard to do,” said the pro before continuing, “If anything, it would be Saturday night,” while alluding to the only free time they would get after the tournament before Sunday when they would be going back. But even so, he made sure to point out how “it’s going to be complicated to move around Vegas on the weekend.”

He dubbed it a “hard guess” to see who would win before going ahead to praise Patrick Mahomes. The Spaniard then made a complete U-turn to express his support for Brock Purdy. The reason? “Just because he’s an Arizona guy,” said the 2023 Masters Tournament champ before continuing, “and for almost how overlooked it seems like he’s been his whole career.” Moreover, he predicted how the San Francisco 49ers “have a really good chance of possibly getting it done” while mentioning how it would be “an amazing ending to this year.”

Well, there was just one other teammate from Legion XIII who supported Rahm’s prediction; none other than Kieran Vincent. He went ahead to say, “I think the whole Brock Purdy story makes you draw to the 49ers a little bit… So I think I have a bit more of my chips on that side.” Nevertheless, both were extremely sure it was going to be a “great game.”

However, not everyone from the team shared the same opinion. Don’t get it wrong. It’s not as if the other two did not want the 49ers to win at all, but they were not that involved in the whole Super Bowl storyline.
