Shane Lowry was visibly upset with a spectator at Royal Troon after hitting a truly terrible shot during the second round of The Open.

Lowry was playing superbly during the second round of the final men’s major of the year at Royal Troon.
But he endured a nightmare at the par-4 12th hole which took him 15 minutes to complete.
He had just played the front nine in 2-under par and was looking to make a few birdies on the home stretch.
But Lowry, the 2019 winner of the claret jug, hit an uncharacteristic tee shot at the same hole that claimed Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as its victims in round one.
McIlroy and Woods hit their tee shots on to the train tracks and Lowry went close to doing the same.
Lowry flared his shot right and was left with 177 yards to the pin.
His second shot was surprising to say the least.

It darted straight left into a gorse bush and it’s fair to say Lowry felt like someone else was to blame.
Specifically, a spectator with a camera.
The hot mics picked up Lowry saying: “As I was over the ball I could just see you puttin’ your f—–‘ camera up.
“Just get outta the way! Just get back there! F— sake.”
Lowry played a provisional ball, which was an absolute beauty and it looked as though he had set up an outside chance to save a bogey.
But his original ball was found by a – dare we suggest – sheepish spectator.
Lowry couldn’t play it and therefore was forced to go backwards and drop again to play his fourth.
That shot came up short.

Lowry went on to make a double bogey six which saw him drop back to 5-under.
He trudged off the green, visibly annoyed.
But he managed to put the mistake behind him quickly, splitting the fairway with his tee shot at the next.
We’ll have to wait and see about what he has to say about the moment later.
Lowry is attempting to become a two-time major champion.
He won the 2019 Open at Royal Portrush, sweeping aside his Ryder Cup teammate Tommy Fleetwood.
