Dustin Johnson and LIV Golf stars’ luxury habits lead to financial boost for Saudi league

Dustin Johnson’s LIV Golf team 4Aces have secured a lucrative partnership with Magellan Jets, a move that is a significant financial boost to the Saudi-backed league

The LIV Golf team 4Aces, spearheaded by Dustin Johnson, has just secured a significant financial boost through a partnership with Magellan Jets. The deal, announced on Wednesday, names Magellan Jets as the “official private aviation provider” for 4Aces.

Joshua Marc Hebert, CEO of Magellan Jets, expressed that the partnership was a natural fit, given that many golfers already favour the company as their go-to private jet provider. Johnson and his 4Aces teammates – Pat Perez, Patrick Reed, and Harold Varner III – are also slated to feature in a series of promotional adverts for the aircraft firm.

“A big reason we are doing this is to have access at LIV tournaments for our customers. Our customers love all four of these players on the 4Aces, and they’re willing to come to some of our events,” said the Magellan CEO. “When our customers come to Boston, they want to go see Fenway and we get them the most amazing access. They want to go meet Sam Kennedy, they get front row and we’re able to show them the locker room, which has Magellan Jets all over it,” he added.

“Hopefully, we will get introduced to more customers, but the secondary reason is getting introduced to some of the players. DJ is a well-respected golfer and one of the alphas in the league. If people feel he’s getting a great service from Magellan Jets, maybe they’ll want to chat with us too.”

The 4Aces have teamed up with Magellan Jets, securing a luxurious travel solution and setting the stage for future high-profile sponsorships. This partnership with the renowned jet company could serve as a blueprint for other potential sponsors to join forces with LIV Golf, thereby enhancing the Saudi-backed golf league’s global reach
