Jon Rahm’s imminent move to LIV Golf is on the verge of being announced.

According to recent updates, Jon Rahm’s anticipated move to LIV Golf appears nearly finalized, with an announcement expected on December 6. The deal, valued at around $565 million, poses a significant setback for the PGA Tour.

Reports suggest that Rahm’s transition to the Public Invested Fund-sponsored league is imminent, and an official statement could come within the next 24 hours.

Additionally, there are indications that another former world No. 1 and a promising European golfer will join him. The Telegraph has raised concerns about Rahm’s Ryder Cup future, speculating on a record £450 million deal with LIV Golf.

However, details about Rahm’s potential new team remain unconfirmed. Negotiations, primarily led by the Public Invested Fund, have been discreet, with little information leaked. Rahm’s absence from The American Express, where he’s a defending champion, has fueled speculation about his move to the Saudi bracket circuit.

Despite winning four titles in the 2022–23 PGA Tour season, including the Masters Tournament, Rahm’s shift could impact his Ryder Cup prospects, requiring him to obtain DP World Tour membership.

His recent performance was at the DP World Tour Championship, finishing joint fifth and securing third place in the Race to Dubai rankings.
