Legendary golfer Tiger Woods, now 49 years old, is still active in the sport but won’t be competing this weekend. He recently revealed that he underwent surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon, which he injured while training at home.
Woods last played in the British Open in 2024, where he was cut after the second round, finishing 14 over par. He hasn’t returned to the PGA Tour since then.

With 82 PGA Tour wins, Woods is tied for the most in history. He turned pro in 1996 and quickly made his mark, winning his first major—the Masters—in 1997 at just 21 years old. He later became the youngest golfer to complete a career Grand Slam, winning all four majors within just a few years.
