Recent reports have highlighted the evolving dynamics between golf legend Tiger Woods, his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, and his new partner, Vanessa Trump. Woods and Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., confirmed their relationship earlier this month. Woods expressed his happiness on social media, stating, “Love is in the air… Life is better with you by my side. We look forward to our journey together.”
Prior to making their relationship public, Woods reportedly informed Nordegren about his new partner. The conversation, described as awkward but civil, took place in late December or early January. Nordegren was initially surprised but quickly accepted the news.
Since their divorce in 2010, Nordegren and Woods have maintained a co-parenting relationship centered around their two children, Sam and Charlie. In a 2014 interview, Nordegren stated, “My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good – we really are – and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father.”
While there have been no recent reports of Nordegren seeking to alter the custody arrangement, she and Woods continue to co-parent effectively. For instance, in March 2024, they both attended a ceremony to support their son Charlie as he received a state championship golf ring.
As of now, there is no public indication that Nordegren is seeking to “win back” custody of Sam and Charlie following Woods’ new relationship. The focus remains on maintaining a supportive environment for their children amidst changing personal circumstances.
