LIV Golf star splits from long-term caddie with emotional post

Kevin Na won five times on the PGA Tour before joining the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit in 2022 – and the experienced player is now on the hunt for a new caddie

Kevin Na and his former caddie Kenny Harms worked together for 16 years

LIV Golf star Kevin Na has announced he’s splitting from caddie Kenny Harms.

The pair were together for nearly 16 years, winning five times on the PGA Tour before the player’s switch to LIV. “It has been an incredible run! 16 years together, you have always been there for me on and off the golf course,” Na posted on Instagram.

“We have shared many amazing moments and also had some hardships along the way. I can’t thank you enough for the trust and support you have given me. It’s been extremely difficult to say goodbye. You will always be a brother to me.”

The pair have achieved some incredible highs together. The highlight was an emotional Charles Schwab Challenge win in May of 2019. Na’s win not only netted him a $1.31 million purse, but also a 1973 Dodge Charger.

He immediately knew who he was giving the car to. “By the way, that car is Kenny Harms’ baby!” Na said after the win. “I’m giving it to Kenny… he and I have an 11-year relationship. We are like brothers, and I’m more than happy to give it to him.”

Na and Harns were mostly recently together on the LIV tour. Na, a member of Iron Heads GC, currently ranks 23rd on the circuit. They’ve participated in 33 LIV events together.
