Bryson DeChambeau clinched his second US Open Major win at Pinehurst 2 after beating Rory McIlroy in a close encounter. The Northern Irishman held his nerve in the final hole of the US Open to win his second Major of his career.
Moreover, Paige Spiranac took to X and slammed Golf reporter Brandel Chamblee for downplaying the LIV superstar’s victory.Paige wrote:
“Brandel saying “good fortune” is why Bryson won the US Open is wild. Doesn’t even try to hide his hatred for him. Smh”

Chamblee has been pretty vocal about his dislike towards LIV Golf and its participants. He has previously attacked a lot of LIV golfers publicly, with Anthony Kim being the most recent example.
On the other side of the coin, Rory McIlory’s winless streak at the Majors extends even further. The World No. 3 last won a Major tournament at the 2014 PGA Championship 3,598 days ago.The competition between McIlroy and DeChambeau was intense throughout. Bryson played second fiddle to McIlroy for much of the final day.
