Ludvig Aberg hit one of the most incredible shots in PGA Tour history in the first round at the Valero Texas Open as he drove the green at the par-4 17th only for his Titleist driver head to fly off at the same time!
Aberg, 24, fired a stunning drive down the 299-yard par-4 17th to within 15 feet of the cup.
But it came at a cost as Aberg’s driver flew off into the sky.
It is understood nobody was hurt from the incident and Aberg was able to replace his driver head onto his shaft.
Aberg went on to two-putt for a birdie as he looks to play his way back into the tournament having started the third round off the pace.
The birdie-three moved him to 4-under par and seven shots behind the leader at the time.
