Nine-time DP World Tour winner Pablo Larrazabal mocks PGA Tour after iconic Pebble Beach event reduced to 54 holes like on LIV Golf.
DP World Tour star Pablo Larrazabal has mocked the PGA Tour after the circuit reduced its first full-field signature event of the season to a 54-hole finish at famed Pebble Beach.
Larrazabal tweeted just moments after PGA Tour officials confirmed Wyndham Clark had been declared the winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after just three rounds as a result of bad weather.
The PGA Tour tried to wait things out for a Monday finish but strong winds and torrential rain meant the iconic US Open venue was in no fit state to host a final round.
It meant the PGA Tour was forced into a 54-hole finish for its $20m event
Clark reveals why he turned down last-minute LIV Golf offer!
The fact it was also a no-cut tournament as well certainly made LIV Golf fans chuckle.
Clark, now a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, moves from 10th to sixth in the Official World Golf Rankings and he collects a hefty $3.6m first prize.
Nine-time DP World Tour winner Larrazabal, 40, was in no mood for congratulations.

While no doubt a tongue-in-cheek tweet from the Spaniard, it was still cheap shot in the direction of the PGA Tour, which unlike LIV Golf always attempts to play 72 holes just like on the DP World Tour.
